Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Medical Writer will produce high-quality content for various medical communications projects, ensuring scientific accuracy and effective storytelling while managing client relationships and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high-quality content for diverse medical communications projects, demonstrating a strong understanding of scientific data and client messaging
• Develop content with minimal supervision, adhering to budget and timelines while maintaining effective client communication
• Stay updated on developments in assigned therapy areas and present work to clients as needed, contributing to project proposals and managing client expectations

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree in a life sciences field (PhD, PharmD, or MD required)
• Experience as a medical writer in a healthcare communications agency or relevant field, or a recent graduate of an accredited PhD, PharmD, or MD program
• Outstanding writing, editing, and communication skills with a strong command of the English language
• Exceptional attention to detail regarding scientific content and editorial standards
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and PowerPoint
