Job Summary
Managing moderately complicated insurance denials and underpayments, the full-time Medicare AR Recovery Analyst will utilize the Rubixis AR Follow Up software to resolve payment issues, analyze contracts, and collaborate with team members, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve insurance denials and underpayments by analyzing contracts and billing discrepancies
- Call healthcare insurance companies to address contract or payment issues and submit necessary appeals
- Mentor junior associates and support team collaboration to enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hospital billing experience with a focus on follow-up
- Advanced knowledge of Medicare payer rules and processes
- Experience with UB04 facility pricing and reimbursement variances
- Proficient in using Medicare Direct Data Entry (DDE) for claim adjustments
- Bachelor's or associate degree preferred
