Medicare Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

To support Medicare patients in navigating their healthcare, the full-time Patient Enrollment Specialist will engage in phone conversations to explain services, confirm Medicare details, and book initial doctor visits, all while working remotely as a 1099 independent contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct approximately 6.5 hours of phone conversations daily with new and returning patients
• Achieve a daily target of 15 patient activations by booking their first doctor visit during calls
• Document patient interactions and flag urgent needs for the care team while ensuring compliance with patient privacy regulations

Required qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN or RN license, or Community Health Worker (CHW) certification, or 2+ years of experience in patient-facing roles
• Knowledge of Medicare, including Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans
• Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls focused on booking patient visits
• Access to a reliable computer, internet connection, and a private space for patient interactions
• Must be located in the United States
