Medicare Licensing Representative

Job Summary

Owning the full agent lifecycle, the full-time Licensing & Contracting Representative will manage agent onboarding, maintain compliance, and support agents in a remote environment to ensure they are properly licensed and ready to sell Medicare plans.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end contracting process for new agents, ensuring timely completion of all documentation and compliance requirements
• Manage relationships with carrier partners, facilitating appointments and resolving issues related to agent status changes
• Act as the primary contact for agents regarding licensing and contracting matters, proactively resolving escalated issues and providing status updates

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in insurance agent licensing and carrier contracting
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Critical thinking skills to identify compliance gaps and deficiencies early
• Proficiency in using communication tools such as Gmail, Slack, and Asana
