Meetings and Events Manager
Job Summary
Leading the day-to-day delivery of events for the HHS Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources, the full-time remote Meetings and Events Manager will manage a portfolio that includes planning and executing large-scale hybrid conferences and industry events, while coordinating resources and engaging with senior government officials and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage contract performance and coordinate event resources, including logistics, communications, and support services
- Serve as the primary liaison for event stakeholders, providing updates and support to senior leadership and VIPs
- Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue logistics, registration, and technical requirements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, hospitality, public administration, or a related field
- Five or more years of experience in planning and executing large-scale events, with at least two years in a lead role
- Demonstrated project management skills, including scheduling and stakeholder management
- Experience interacting with senior executives and government officials
- Hands-on experience with event management platforms such as Stova or Cvent
