MEL Director

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership in a fully remote capacity, the full-time MEL Director will oversee Nuru's Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning systems, utilizing advanced statistical analysis and mixed-methods research to evaluate agribusiness and social outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of mixed-methods evaluation frameworks, econometric modeling, and causal attribution using advanced statistical software
• Manage MEL indicator frameworks, field survey infrastructure, and reporting dashboards across the organization
• Integrate quantitative and qualitative data with GIS tools to assess environmental outcomes and support compliance with market-based standards

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in mixed-methods research and monitoring systems within international development or related fields
• Proven ability to manage MEL workflows and direct third-party research partnerships
• Hands-on experience with digital field collection platforms and data pipeline management
• Demonstrated experience in tracking environmental or agricultural outcomes using GIS tools
• Fluency in English
