Member Intake Specialist

Job Summary

Connecting individuals to essential addiction and mental health care, the part-time Member Intake Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for prospective members, guiding them through the intake process and advocating for care options in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for prospective members through various communication channels, including phone calls and web submissions
• Educate prospective members on the care model and address their needs, motivations, and barriers using a consultative sales approach
• Manage leads and referrals, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation of interactions in CRM and EMR systems

Required qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, particularly in patient access, care coordination, or member engagement
• Strong sales mindset with a focus on outcomes, empathy, and ethical considerations
• Comfortable in a metrics-driven environment, utilizing data for improvement
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM systems and scheduling tools
