Member Service Representative

Job Summary

Engaging with members in a professional manner, the full-time Member Service Representative will perform routine and complex transactions, provide excellent customer service, and assist in achieving branch sales and service goals while working onsite and potentially remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex member transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and account maintenance
• Actively listen to members to identify needs and provide appropriate referrals for products and services
• Participate in training programs and collaborate with team members to meet branch and organizational goals

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or college degree
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a financial or customer service cash handling environment
• Ability to successfully complete new account and loan training within 1 year of service
• Familiarity with basic PC applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Credit Union policies preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
