Membership Specialist II

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Membership Specialist II will perform complex reconciliation analysis and audit activities for Individual or Group accounts receivable, resolve billing issues, and educate members on enrollment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and resolve complex reconciliation discrepancies, processing refunds and enrollment changes as needed
• Conduct detailed audits of accounts receivable and maintain accurate documentation of discrepancies and resolutions
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to address billing and enrollment issues while ensuring compliance with regulations

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Two years of recent accounting/finance/bookkeeping experience or an Associate's Degree in accounting/finance/bookkeeping
• One year of prior experience as a Membership Analyst I or in a similar role with reconciliation experience
• Health or insurance industry experience is preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance is preferred
