Job Summary
To support a diverse array of projects in the early development stages, the full-time MEP Estimator will prepare cost estimates, review MEP drawings, and collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate financial planning throughout the pre-construction phase.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and ensure comprehensive reviews of plans and drawings
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor bids, ensuring compliance with project specifications and financial objectives
- Maintain a centralized cost estimating database and conduct studies to improve estimating procedures and cost effectiveness
Required qualifications
- BS or BA in construction, management, engineering, or architecture
- 5+ years of experience in estimating or related roles within general contracting
- Preferred experience with Data Center, Mission Critical, or Corporate Interiors projects
- Familiarity with estimating software such as Destini Estimator and On Screen Takeoff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
