Merchant Risk Specialist

Job Summary

To drive operational excellence, the full-time Merchant Risk Specialist will set up and administer merchant accounts, manage financial contract terms, and ensure compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Data entry and configuration of merchant financial contract terms, ensuring operational timeliness and accuracy
• Investigate and resolve issues related to technical, servicing, and settlement matters to enhance merchant satisfaction
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, advocating for merchant needs and coordinating communication across functional areas

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 2-4 years of experience in a comparable operations role
• Intermediate knowledge of PC-based applications, particularly in spreadsheets and data management
• Experience managing high-volume financial transactions and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret contract language and operational financial terms
