Job Summary
To support a growing educational initiative, the fully remote Virtual ASL Educator will teach 8th-grade ASL, develop lesson plans, and engage students in a virtual learning environment on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Teach the school's curriculum using the district's virtual platform
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum and track student performance
- Engage and nurture student learning through relationship-focused strategies
Required qualifications
- Must hold an active Michigan state teaching certification or be willing to seek Michigan reciprocity
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Participation in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and background check required
