Job Summary
To support a growing educational initiative, the fully remote Virtual ASL Educator will teach 8th grade ASL, develop lesson plans, and engage students in a virtual learning environment on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform and develop aligned lesson plans
- Engage and nurture student learning through relationship-focused strategies
- Track student grades and performance while attending district professional development sessions
Required qualifications
- Must hold an active Michigan state teaching certification or be willing to seek Michigan reciprocity
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
- Authorized to work in the United States
