Job Summary
To support sustainable energy initiatives, the full-time Michigan Licensed Building Science Analyst will conduct project verifications, ensure compliance with energy standards, and provide training to trade allies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct desktop project verifications and ensure adherence to program and state standards
- Develop and deliver technical training materials for internal and external participants
- Serve as a technical spokesperson, approving communications and representing the organization in technical forums
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in HVAC, electrical, residential construction, or related fields
- Bachelor's degree in Building Science or a related program preferred
- BPI Building Analyst Professional (BA-P) certification or ability to obtain it within the first 60 days of employment
- Strong knowledge of building science applications and standards
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred
