Michigan Licensed CAD Engineer
Job Summary
To support AI training initiatives, the part-time Freelance Mechanical CAD & Simulation Engineer will design part geometry, evaluate AI agents in a CAD environment, and collaborate with CFD engineers, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design part geometry and build reference solutions for AI training
- Evaluate and judge AI agents' attempts at completing engineering tasks
- Collaborate with CFD engineers to ensure proper simulation of built geometries
Required qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; a Master's or PhD is a plus
- 5+ years of professional CAD modeling experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, or similar)
- An active professional CAD license
- Proficiency in Python and GitHub
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
