Job Summary
Supporting the bureau's Financial Manager, the full-time salaried Michigan Licensed Financial Analyst will assist in budget development, monitor expenditures, and coordinate financial functions while working onsite in East Lansing, MI.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the development and analysis of the operating budget and provide accurate projections
- Support the administration of grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements
- Develop financial reports and represent the bureau at related meetings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any major with at least 24 semester credits in accounting, finance, and economic courses
- For Financial Analyst 10: One year of professional experience in budget analysis or financial data evaluation
- For Financial Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience in budget analysis or financial data evaluation, including one year equivalent to Financial Analyst 10
- Ability to substitute college credits for experience on a proportional basis
