Michigan Licensed SEC Reporting Manager
Job Summary
Leading financial reporting and technical accounting initiatives, the full-time Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting will oversee SEC filings, prepare financial statements, and manage reporting processes in a hybrid or fully remote work arrangement based in Lansing, MI.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K
- Research technical accounting matters and monitor developments in U.S. GAAP and SEC rules
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the development of internal controls over financial reporting
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Eight or more years of accounting experience, including public-company reporting
- Hands-on experience with SEC filings and financial statement disclosures
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
