Job Summary
Supporting month-end close and financial reporting activities, the contract Senior Accountant will work primarily remotely while residing in Michigan, preparing reconciliations, journal entries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support month-end close and financial reporting activities
- Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
- Analyze general ledger activity and resolve account discrepancies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and month-end close experience
- Experience in software, technology, SaaS, subscription-based, or recurring revenue environments is a plus
- Deferred revenue exposure is highly desirable
