Michigan Senior Communications Representative

Job Summary

Managing public relations and digital media efforts, the full-time Michigan Senior Communications Representative will oversee the agency's websites, social media, and digital publications while planning and conducting various public relations programs to enhance awareness of MVAA services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the agency's external and internal websites, social media platforms, and digital publications
• Develop, write, and disseminate agency messages in collaboration with the strategic communication team
• Assess public attitudes and review departmental presentations for community and internal audiences

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field
• Three years of professional experience in preparing and disseminating informational and promotional materials
• One year of experience equivalent to a Communications Representative P11
• Experience with managing social media messages and utilizing data to identify audiences
• Proficiency in writing and editing press releases and promotional content
