Micro-Segmentation LAN Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Micro-Segmentation LAN Engineer, the hybrid contract role will manage the design, deployment, and reliability of secure LAN infrastructure while collaborating with IT, security, and business teams to ensure effective segmentation solutions are implemented with minimal disruption.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for LAN micro-segmentation initiatives and support project delivery
- Lead the deployment and ongoing support of micro-segmentation and LAN network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide escalation support for network incidents
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience with strong knowledge of enterprise networking
- Experience with Cisco IOS and ACI implementation
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in high-availability environments
- Experience mentoring and training support personnel and operational teams
