Job Summary
To support the upgrade of the Microfocus platform, the remote Microfocus Expert will manage legacy modernization efforts, assess existing applications, and provide technical guidance throughout the upgrade process.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the upgrade of the Microfocus platform and assess existing Microfocus and Mainframe applications
- Identify application dependencies and assist with application remediation during the upgrade process
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microfocus and Mainframe applications
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Microfocus and Mainframe technologies
- Hands-on experience with COBOL and supporting Microfocus-based applications
- Experience with Microfocus platform upgrades and analyzing legacy applications
- Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
