Job Summary
To support software delivery processes, the remote Build and Release Engineer will design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, troubleshoot build failures, and manage source control and artifact management, requiring a Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Azure Repos, including permissions, branching strategies, and pull request workflows
- Design and maintain multi-stage YAML-based CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment activities
- Configure and manage self-hosted and Microsoft-hosted build agents across various platforms
Required Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification, including AZ-400
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps tools such as Azure Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts
- Proficiency in creating and troubleshooting multi-stage YAML pipelines
- Experience with at least one major build ecosystem (e.g., .NET/MSBuild, npm/Node.js, Maven)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
