Job Summary
To support software delivery processes, the remote Build and Release Engineer will design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, troubleshoot build failures, and manage source control administration while holding a Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Azure Repos, manage branching strategies, and resolve complex merge conflicts
- Design and maintain YAML-based CI/CD pipelines, implementing multi-stage processes for build, test, and deployment
- Configure and maintain self-hosted build agents, ensuring consistent build environments across platforms
Required Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification, including AZ-400
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps tools, including Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts
- Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Bash for automation tasks
- Practical experience with major build ecosystems such as .NET/MSBuild or npm/Node.js
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
