Job Summary
To support software delivery in a remote capacity, the Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer will design and maintain secure, reusable build and release pipelines, troubleshoot complex build failures, and manage Azure DevOps tools and environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Azure Repos, manage permissions, and establish branching strategies and pull request workflows
- Design, create, and maintain YAML-based CI/CD pipelines, implementing multi-stage processes for build and deployment activities
- Configure and maintain self-hosted build agents on Windows and Linux, ensuring consistent build environments and troubleshooting issues as they arise
Required Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification, including AZ-400 and the applicable prerequisite certification
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Artifacts
- Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Bash for build and deployment automation
- Practical experience with major build ecosystems such as .NET/MSBuild, npm/Node.js, Maven/Gradle, or Python packaging
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
