Microsoft Certified SOC Analyst

Job Summary

Monitoring and analyzing security data in a remote capacity, the full-time Microsoft Certified SOC Analyst will detect and respond to cyber security incidents while supporting the maintenance of the MDR infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, prioritize, correlate, analyze, and escalate security data from multiple sources in a 24x7 SOC environment
• Independently investigate and respond to malicious activity following established procedures
• Document incident activities and provide status updates to leadership throughout the incident lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of experience
• 2+ years' experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge
• Knowledge of security methodologies, technical security solutions, and network analysis
• Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and common Internet protocols and applications
• Security+ or InfoSec security certification preferred
