Microsoft Power BI Developer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Microsoft Power BI Developer will manage data mining, analytics, and dashboard creation to support the U.S. Postal Service's Inspector General's Office, providing essential insights for business and resource allocation decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Focus on business intelligence and reporting technologies, creating data models and visualizations
- Collaborate with OIG customers and technical teams to define requirements and deliver solutions using Microsoft Power BI
- Develop, publish, and schedule reports and dashboards, optimizing performance on data models
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field, or PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification
- 4+ years of experience in business intelligence and/or information management
- 2+ years of experience in data visualization and client-facing technical roles
- Expert knowledge of data management, ETL processes, and analytics concepts
- Proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, or Python, and experience with Data Analytics Expressions (DAX) and Power Queries
