Microsoft Power BI Developer
Job Summary
To support analytics and reporting initiatives, the part-time Microsoft Power BI Developer will design and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards using Microsoft Fabric, while ensuring data governance and performance optimization in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports
- Build and maintain semantic models, DAX measures, and relationships while implementing security measures
- Integrate reporting solutions with Microsoft 365 and Teams, and maintain report documentation and user enablement materials
Required qualifications
- 6-8+ years of application development experience, particularly in BI analytics and Power BI development
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and semantic modeling
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Direct Lake
- Knowledge of row-level security, object-level security, and workspace governance
- Experience with deployment pipelines and performance optimization
