Job Summary
Designing, deploying, and managing Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) capabilities within Microsoft Purview, the Microsoft Purview DSPM Engineer will work remotely on a contract basis, focusing on configuring data discovery, implementing data loss prevention controls, and collaborating with security and compliance teams.
Key responsibilities
- Configure data discovery and classification policies within Microsoft Purview
- Implement data loss prevention and governance controls while integrating with Microsoft security tools
- Analyze security posture across data estates and collaborate with teams to remediate risks and improve policies
Required qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex Microsoft and security environments
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint for data governance integration
- Solid foundation in Information Technology, including networking and cloud services
- Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and configuration of Microsoft Purview
- Understanding of data protection regulations and frameworks relevant to data security posture
