To support a vital government program, the full-time Mid Developer - Remote will design and develop scalable application modules using Java and Thymeleaf, translate legacy applications to modern code, and collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality code delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop application modules while ensuring security and scalability
- Translate legacy PowerBuilder applications to a modern Java-based codebase using AI tools
- Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment
Required qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust/NACI position
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 4+ years of experience in Java or similar object-oriented languages
- Proficiency with REST APIs, Spring Boot, and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing practices
