Mid-Level 508 Tester
Job Summary
To support a mission-driven federal IT company, the full-time Mid-Level 508 Tester will conduct functional and accessibility testing, perform WCAG conformance reviews, and support requirements analysis for enterprise applications in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and traceability against requirements
- Perform Section 508 accessibility testing using the DHS Trusted Tester process and automated scanning tools
- Log, track, and verify defects through resolution, while contributing to test automation scripts and facilitating User Acceptance Testing sessions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an Associate's degree plus two years of relevant experience
- Three to five years of software testing experience, including at least two years of accessibility testing
- Experience with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and accessibility testing tools
- Familiarity with test planning, execution, and defect tracking
- Ability to obtain DHS Trusted Tester Certification within 90 days of assignment
