Mid-Level Acquisition Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting federal acquisition activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle, the full-time Mid-Level Acquisition Specialist will work remotely to provide program support for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), collaborating with Contracting Officers and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant and effective acquisition processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support Federal acquisition activities, including planning, solicitation, award, administration, and closeout
• Interpret and apply Federal acquisition regulations, including the FAR and HHSAR
• Prepare and review acquisition documentation such as Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, and source selection plans

Required qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Federal acquisition activities
• Demonstrated experience in pre-award and post-award acquisition support
• Working knowledge of the FAR and applicable Federal acquisition regulations
• Experience developing and reviewing Federal acquisition documentation
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution, or ten (10) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
