Mid-Level Application Developer
Job Summary
To support innovative software solutions, the remote Mid-Level Application Developer will contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of Java-based applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring code quality.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Java-based RESTful web services in accordance with technical designs and architectural standards
- Review functional specifications and work with business analysts to translate requirements into technical designs
- Create and maintain unit tests, participate in code reviews, and provide technical feedback to improve software quality
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically with Java application development
- 2+ years of experience with Angular and modern web application development practices
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services and working with application integration patterns
- 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational database technologies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance
