Mid-Level Civil Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the electrical utility and renewable energy sectors, the full-time Mid-Level Site Civil Engineer will manage grading and drainage/stormwater management design for substations and renewable energy sites, while working in a hybrid environment from Cincinnati, OH, Billings, MT, or Exton, PA.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables for civil/site engineering projects, including site layout and construction drawing production
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management calculations, and floodplain analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with project teams to ensure project scope, budget, and quality standards are met
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline
- 3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience in civil design
- Engineer in Training Certification
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
- Strong command of the English language with effective communication skills
