Job Summary
To support a growing IT team, the full-time Mid-Level Cloud Administrator will perform systems and cloud administration tasks, managing servers and virtual infrastructure while ensuring system availability and security in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Windows, Linux, and Unix servers across production and non-production environments
- Manage cloud platform resources, virtual infrastructure, and network services configuration
- Execute patching, hardening, backup, and disaster recovery procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field; OR an Associate's degree plus two (2) additional years of relevant experience
- Three (3) to five (5) years of systems administration and/or cloud administration experience in production environments
- One current platform or security certification (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate)
- Experience with systems administration (Windows, Linux, Unix) and cloud platform management (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to develop scripting and automation to reduce manual administrative effort
