Mid-Level Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Naval Research & Development Establishment, the remote Mid-Level Data Engineer will design, implement, and optimize data systems and pipelines, collaborating with AI/ML engineers to enhance mission-critical operations and improve data workflows.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze use cases and high-level requirements to define detailed requirements for data solution design and implementation
- Establish and update data architectures/models, data standards, transformations, and integrations
- Provide automation through the development and deployment of modern software-intensive solutions
Required qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in data management and analysis supporting corporate operations
- 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, designing dashboards and reporting solutions using the QLIK Advana reporting suite
- Technical skills in Python, SQL, data modeling, APIs, and data architecture
- Experience with AI libraries and varied data visualization techniques
- BS degree in Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Intelligence, or related fields
