Mid-Level Full Stack Developer
Job Summary
To support a multi-year Federal contract, the full-time Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and REST APIs while collaborating with an Agile/Scrum team to enhance application performance and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in the Agile software development lifecycle, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and deployment activities
- Design and implement RESTful web services and maintain responsive web applications using Java, Spring, and Angular
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments while mentoring junior developers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience with 6+ years in software/application development
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring (including Spring Boot), and Angular, along with SQL and relational databases
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services and working with JSON and XML
- Familiarity with Apache Maven and Git-based source control
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience with legacy application modernization
