Mid-Level Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

Seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Designer for a remote position, this role will independently perform mechanical design assignments, focusing on HVAC and plumbing designs for advanced facilities projects while coordinating with other design and engineering professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Independently execute mechanical design assignments, including HVAC load and plumbing calculations
• Gather existing HVAC and plumbing conditions on project sites and during construction
• Coordinate work activities with design and engineering teams to ensure project success

Required qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related technical discipline is highly preferred
• At least 5 years of practical mechanical design experience, including HVAC and plumbing systems
• Proficient working knowledge of Revit software
• General understanding of mechanical and plumbing codes
• Familiarity with clash detection and building system coordination
