Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative power projects, the full-time Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer will evaluate engineering techniques, perform designs for power plant systems, and develop mechanical documentation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and apply engineering techniques, procedures, and industry codes to projects
• Perform intermediate complexity engineering designs, including analysis and equipment selection
• Develop mechanical piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) and prepare requisite mechanical documentation for construction

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design, preferably in the power industry
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• PE license preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics, integrity, and safety
• Strong organizational and time management skills
