Mid-Level PRA Engineer
Job Summary
To support risk-informed initiatives in the nuclear sector, the full-time Mid-Level PRA Engineer will apply industry standards, perform detailed analyses, and collaborate with clients and engineering teams while working onsite in Kennesaw, Georgia, or Fort Worth, Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of ASME/ANS PRA Standards and related NRC Regulatory Guides
- Ensure project tasks are executed within planned scope, budget, and schedule
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and quality engineering products
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university; PE license and advanced degrees are beneficial
- At least 3 years of PRA experience in the nuclear industry, including common PRA tasks
- Experience with PRA models for risk assessments supporting license amendment requests and risk-informed applications
- Familiarity with EPRI Risk & Reliability software and codes such as Phoenix Risk Architect suite
- Motivated to work on challenging tasks with minimal supervision and willing to travel approximately 10% as needed
