Mid-Level SOC Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Mid-Level SOC Analyst will manage security event monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting to ensure rapid identification and response to Indicators of Compromise (IoC) in a 24x7 Security Operation Center environment.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor SIEM and on-premises/cloud applications for security threats and intrusions
• Participate in incident response activities, ensuring proper containment, remediation, and recovery
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and compile reports on emerging threats and vulnerabilities

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in log data analysis for intrusion analysis or information security operations
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant certifications
• Experience with multiple analysis tools in a CIRT or similar investigative environment
• Ability to build content in a SIEM system
• Proficiency in analyzing and triaging IoCs
