Mid-Level Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support innovative software solutions, the remote Mid-Level Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software components while collaborating with cross-functional teams and enhancing Java/Scala-based REST APIs.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software components throughout the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and technical teams to identify design gaps and implement functionality improvements
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development and application support
- Strong experience with Java and REST API development
- Experience with JavaScript and modern web application development practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
