Mid-level Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic engineering team, the full-time Mid-level Software Engineer will build impactful full-stack features for a peer-to-peer learning platform, collaborating closely with designers and stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with users and team members to identify problems, contribute product ideas, and oversee the deployment of prototypes and experiments
• Make technical decisions and scope work with support from experienced colleagues
• Write maintainable and readable code, participate in code reviews, and uphold codebase quality

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer with a proven track record of building and shipping features
• Proficient in Typescript, Node.js, React, Next.js, and Postgres, or ability to quickly learn these technologies
• Ability to understand user needs and create solutions that enhance their experience
• Experience in making product and technical trade-offs and working independently while seeking help when needed
• Availability to work in a US timezone
