Middle Market Underwriting Technician
Job Summary
Supporting the Middle Market Underwriters, the full-time Middle Market Underwriting Technician will manage endorsements, service accounts, and enhance agency relationships in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support on new business submissions and renewal accounts to meet premium and retention goals
- Process endorsements within authority and prepare renewal books by gathering necessary information
- Collaborate with underwriters and agents to address escalations and ensure prompt service delivery
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred and/or 1-2 years of commercial lines experience
- Basic knowledge of commercial lines underwriting with premiums over $50,000
- Understanding of exposure/control analysis and coverage implications
- Ability to self-manage workload and meet service standards
- Effective communication skills with internal and external partners
