Middle School Math Instructor

Job Summary

To support personalized education, the part-time or full-time Homeschool Instructor - Middle School Math will design, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons tailored to middle school learners, fostering mastery in mathematical concepts and literacy skills in a one-on-one or small-group environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and student learning styles
• Deliver interactive and adaptive lessons integrating games, real-world examples, and writing exercises
• Administer and grade assignments, track student progress, and adjust instruction based on individual needs

Required Qualifications

• Certified teacher OR at least 5 years of proven experience as a homeschool instructor
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, English, or a related field preferred
• Demonstrated experience teaching middle school-aged students in Math and ELA
• Familiarity with working with students who have learning disabilities and ability to adapt lessons accordingly
• Creative, patient, empathetic, and committed to ongoing professional development
