Migration Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a TDM/VOIP Migration Engineer responsible for developing and implementing migration strategies and plans to support migration services.
Key Responsibilities
- Define migration strategy and develop detailed Cutover Plan for architecture migration
- Collect and interpret vendor switch data, mapping it to the required format
- Document migration plans, phases, activities, and schedules for execution
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
- Understanding of signaling protocols and legacy voice fundamentals
- Experience with database manipulation, including SQL, MySQL, and Oracle
- Knowledge of IP data and telephony skills, including routing and switching
