Military Health Policy Expert

Job Summary

To support a federal program management office, the full-time Military Health Policy Expert will provide strategic guidance on clinical policy and program execution related to Warfighter Brain Health priorities, including Traumatic Brain Injury, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as an advisor on Military Health clinical care delivery and policy, coordinating with clinical teams and operational stakeholders to improve care practices
• Evaluate existing policies and workflows to recommend evidence-based updates aligned with Department of Defense health policy and federal regulations
• Produce documentation such as policy analyses and recommendation briefs to support program leadership and ensure provider perspectives are incorporated into solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of clinical experience in healthcare settings, particularly with traumatic brain injury patients
• 5+ years of professional experience in healthcare administration or operations, including direct clinical experience with TBI care in a DoD or Federal government context
• Experience in preparing executive-level briefings and reports for senior leaders
• Expertise in developing and ensuring compliance with health policies and clinical recommendations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools like Jira/Confluence
