Job Summary
Serving as the Military Mountaineering Subject Matter Expert, the full-time remote Education Coordinator II will evaluate and update instructional materials, validate Programs of Instruction for Mountain, Cold Weather, and Dive Medicine Courses, and assist in the planning and conduct of these courses.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and update instructional materials and validate Programs of Instruction for Mountain, Cold Weather, and Dive Medicine Courses
- Serve as the primary instructor for Military Mountaineering, conducting risk management assessments and maintaining mountaineering equipment
- Collaborate with the Course director on training evaluation and validation issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3-5 years of experience in mountaineering instruction
- Knowledge of Military mountaineering standards and AMGA standards for climbing
- Ability to obtain and maintain a T1 Public Trust background check
- Extensive hands-on mountaineering instruction experience
