Minnesota Licensed Hematology RN

Job Summary

To support the intake process for patients with non-cancerous blood disorders, the full-time remote Minnesota Licensed Hematology RN will communicate with the healthcare team, review patient charts, facilitate pre-consult work-ups, and manage orders while documenting communications and collaborating with team members.

Key responsibilities

• Completes patient care assessments, education, and RN triage in a clinic setting
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
• Documents care in accordance with Allina Health Cancer Institute policies and practices

Required qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• 0 to 2 years of inpatient or outpatient oncology nursing experience, or 2 years in an ambulatory or hospital care setting
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota required upon hire
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred within 2 years of hire
• BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire
