Minnesota Licensed Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary

To support the District Human Resources team, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Human Resources Generalist will manage staffing and recruitment, oversee employee leave administration, and handle benefits and workers' compensation while working onsite in Mankato, MN with some remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Consults with district employees and management on personnel policies and human resources administration
• Manages employee leaves of absence and oversees workers' compensation claims
• Develops and delivers new employee orientation programs and supports recruitment and hiring processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field with four or more years of experience in human resources or court office, or an Associate's degree with six or more years of experience
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and human resources management principles
• Ability to analyze and resolve personnel management issues within delegated authority
• Experience in managing employee benefits and retirement planning
• Preferred certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
