Job Summary
To enhance patient safety initiatives, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Patient Safety Analyst will manage safety events, collaborate with various stakeholders, and lead committees focused on improving healthcare processes while working both onsite and potentially part-time remotely after orientation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of patient safety programs and provide guidance to clinical and leadership staff
- Conduct cause analyses of harm events and collaborate with peers to facilitate improvement initiatives
- Compile and analyze patient safety data for tracking and reporting to operations and leadership
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Five years of clinical experience required
- Current unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license with the State Board of Nursing
- Knowledge of regulatory, licensure, and accreditation regulations related to patient safety or risk management desired
